Selected activities, 2024–2026
In 2026, Dandan gave invited university seminars at Peking University, Tsinghua University and Durham University, on tactile intelligence, contact-rich manipulation and physically grounded embodied intelligence. Her conference contributions included the RSS workshop on Bridging AI and Robotics for Safer and Smarter Healthcare, RoboSoft, and the 7th UK Robot Manipulation Workshop.
Public engagement includes co-organising Imperial I-X Open Days in 2024–2025, demonstrations at Imperial Lates and Imperial Policy Fellowships in 2024, and earlier University of Bristol open-day activities.
Dandan coordinates the Female Academic Network in Imperial Bioengineering, has served as an NHS AI Ambassador since 2025, and is Programme Co-Chair for IEEE ROBIO 2026. The ROBIO conference and her Women in Robotics invited talk are forthcoming.
